The design of the Nintendo Infographic Poster is to provide a vast amount of information that can be easily navigated. You can learn about the company origin, console timeline, and sales comparison.
THE PURPOSE
The goal is to show the evolution of Nintendo; how a small playing card company became the biggest multinational video game company.
Take a look at the World of Nintendo.
THE PROCESS
Throughout the poster, I've incorporated two infographic elements such as the colour-coordinated timeline and butterfly bar graph.
— The pastel but retro colour themed timeline indicates the Nintendo consoles with US/Canada released years. From the 1980s to the 2010s, each console gives us a glimpse of the era.
— The butterfly bar graph engages with the audience to look at the ups and downs of Nintendo sales, viewing the peak of their successes.
